Once again thank you for registering to join us for the upcoming 60th Anniversary Cairns Black Marlin Tournament, held from 21–26 September 2026.

Please feel free to use this email address if you have any questions in the lead-up to the event. We will also be sending periodic updates to entrants via email as the tournament approaches.

Our first update is regarding marina bookings.

If you have not yet arranged your marina berth, we strongly encourage you to do so at your earliest convenience, as berths are expected to be limited during the event period.

Please note, it is not compulsory to stay at the Cairns Marlin Marina. Vessels may stay at any of the Cairns marina facilities, and links to their websites are included below:

Ports North have requested that bookings be made online. Please note your participation in the tournament when making your booking, as the marina will offer the weekly rate, rather than the daily rate, to tournament boats.

Participation in the Sailpast on the morning of Tuesday, 22 September is compulsory. All vessels will therefore need to make their way to the river area in front of the Cairns Marlin Marina in preparation for the start of the Sailpast.
